Cutover joins AWS ISV Workload Migration Program

AWS ISV Workload Migration Program helps Cutover customers to accelerate cloud migration.

Cutover, the enterprise-wide platform built to orchestrate critical activities across teams and technology, today announced it has joined the AWS ISV Workload Migration Program (WMP). This program will enable Cutover to offer a SaaS platform designed to give enterprise customers fast, flexible access to the cloud.

The WMP helps customers migrate Independent Software Vendor (ISV) workloads to AWS to achieve their business goals and accelerate their cloud journey. Cutover will join other AWS Partners in WMP to provide seamless delivery and certainty of execution via a repeatable migration process and methodology.

“Moving enterprise workloads safely and securely is not easy; we are focused on making cloud migration the most delightful and repeatable process possible for our customers,” says Carolyn Dunlop, VP Channels and Alliances, Cutover. “We are looking forward to continuing the momentum through 2022, having attended AWS re: Invent with our innovative customers and peers. With transformation and digital agility becoming ever more important, the AWS Workload Migration Program will make it easier than ever for our customers to migrate applications and data to the cloud with pace, governance and minimal business disruption.”

This accelerated shift to the cloud is reflected in a recent Gartner® Press Release which states “Simply put, the pandemic served as a multiplier for CIOs’ interest in the cloud.” Further, “The events of last year allowed CIOs to overcome any reluctance of moving mission-critical workloads from on-premises to the cloud,” said Sid Nag, research vice president at Gartner. Similarly, according to Gartner® “More than 45% of IT spending [in the segments included as part of cloud shift] will have shifted to the cloud by 2024 (an increase from 33% in 2020). This highlights the continued preference for public cloud services, compared with traditional non-cloud alternatives.”

Cutover enables teams to deliver the implementation phases of cloud migration with total confidence and control. Organizations now need to streamline the extensive orchestration and communication required to keep a cloud migration moving. With Cutover’s templated runbooks, teams will have the necessary guard rails to drive consistency and efficiency, replacing disparate channels with a single platform to track migration delivery at both an aggregate and service level. Cutover recently commissioned a Forrester Consulting study which revealed that the Cutover platform reduced planning time by 25% to 50% and event execution time by 50%. Beyond cost savings, Cutover also reduces risk by mitigating 20% of incidents.

The announcement follows the exciting news that Cutover is now available on the AWS Marketplace, making it easier than ever to get more visibility and control over cloud migration. With thousands of software listings from ISVs, the AWS Marketplace makes it easier for organizations to evaluate, procure, and provision software, data, or professional services by enabling a standardized approach for all engagements with suppliers on AWS.

Looking to 2022, Cutover will continue to develop core functionality with AWS services, including AWS CloudEndure and AWS Service Catalog App Registry, with many others to come. The intent is to build on the Cutover cloud operations offering that supports customers moving to the cloud with ease, control, and visibility.
