Promote a ‘human by exception’ rather than ‘by default’ approach Decide what your thresholds are for exactly when human involvement is needed, and use this to exclude and include human coordination into your automation planning.
Bring automation out of the ‘tech’ shadows and into the ‘business process’ spotlight Automation is often seen as highly technical, with its value being more significant or powerful for technical teams, but this is simply not true. By bringing automation opportunities to the forefront for business processes you can really start embracing an automate-first culture and reap the benefits of effective automation on human/machine collaboration.
