Feature: Workspaces

We’re pleased to announce some exciting changes to Cutover! Our new feature, Workspaces, will create a better user experience and let you get even more value out of the platform. Workspaces will replace Accounts and can be tailored based on the type of work you’re doing. For example, if you're focused on various transformation programs, you can create workspaces for cloud migrations, data center migrations, or platform implementations.

We’ve introduced a new Workspaces panel, enabling users with access to more than one workspace to easily navigate between different Workspaces. The Workspace panel can even be customized based on use case:

The Runbook Create process has been changed so that it’s easier to create the right type of Runbook based on the workspace. For example, if you’re in a Resilience Workspace, you can tailor the Runbook Types to your resilience activities, whether it’s a Business Continuity Management runbook or Data Center Recovery test:

We have also introduced a new modal containing all templates relevant to that particular runbook type; so users can select from pre-existing templates or choose a blank runbook to get up and running quickly:

All of these changes are aimed at helping you get the most out of Cutover by tailoring the platform to your particular needs. Workspaces will help you get up and running with your Runbooks much faster and ensure you’re set up for success.
