LONDON, April 21, 2026 - Cutover, the execution and orchestration layer trusted by the world's largest financial institutions for mission-critical IT operations in the enterprise, today announced the launch of its interactive, editable nodemap. Combined with Cutover AI Create, these two capabilities fundamentally change how IT operations teams can build and execute a world class application recovery capability across teams, automation and agents to recover from outages or perform testing to increase resilience. Together, they give teams a live, visual workspace where complex operational procedures can be created, refined, and executed.
For too long, recovery runbooks have lived in static documents, spreadsheets, or disconnected ITSM tickets - built once, forgotten fast, and rebuilt from memory under pressure. Cutover's AI Create and editable nodemap change that. Teams can now go from unstructured data to an actionable, executable capability in minutes, not days. AI-generated recovery templates shift the effort from authoring to reviewing, while the editable nodemap enables sequencing correction before a hidden error becomes a problem. And, because Cutover’s orchestrations are dynamic, teams can adapt mid-recovery.
What's new
Build and refine runbooks on a live visual nodemap. Cutover’s nodemap has always helped you see the flow of your runbook, making it easy to check that all dependencies are in order. With our new enhancements, teams can now design and iterate directly in the nodemap, keeping the full operational picture in view while they work.
Point-and-click task connections. Teams can create and remove task connections with a single click, making it fast and accurate to reflect how work actually flows across teams, systems, and decision points in complex orchestrations.
Fluid task management on the nodemap. Add, copy, paste, and reorganize tasks without leaving the nodemap. The planning experience stays focused and uninterrupted, which is critical when a P1 is live and every second counts.
These capabilities are further accelerated by Cutover AI Create, which in minutes populates the runbook tasks, their contents and dependencies from any existing unstructured data such as confluence pages. It’s the perfect synergy of autonomous efficiency and human oversight.
Ky Nichol, CEO of Cutover, states, "AI is currently great at analysis and drafting. Humans are great at judgment and approving every step before it touches production. What's been missing is the canvas where those two come together — for tests and live incidents alike. That's what the editable nodemap and AI Create deliver."
The interactive nodemap and AI Create are generally available now for all Cutover customers. They build on Cutover’s existing platform strengths providing customers 28–50% faster Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR), regulator-ready immutable audit trails, and deep ServiceNow integration to deliver the most complete incident orchestration capability available in the enterprise market.
