Cutover unveils AI Assistant that transforms runbooks and enterprise orchestration with natural-language processing

LONDON, UK - November 20, 2025 - Cutover, the leading provider of AI-powered runbooks, today announced the early preview launch of Cutover AI Assistant, a powerful new capability designed to simplify and accelerate how users manage their mission-critical runbooks. Launching initially as an early preview for Cutover runbooks, with AI Assistant you can ask questions, find blockers, summarize outcomes, and make updates, all through simple, natural language.

The Cutover AI Assistant moves beyond traditional interfaces, allowing users to interact with planned, live, or completed automated runbooks using simple, natural language conversations. This enables a significant leap in efficiency, making it easier than ever to manage complex operational procedures through Cutover Recover, Migrate, Release and Respond.

"The launch of the Cutover AI Assistant marks a pivotal step in our commitment to leveraging AI to reduce operational complexity and increase speed," said Kieran Gutteridge, CTO at Cutover. "By enabling a greater breadth of users to converse with their runbooks, we are not just automating tasks, we are democratizing the management of complex processes, making it faster to find and fix issues and execute changes confidently."

The Cutover AI Assistant transforms runbook management by enabling conversational interactions that drive execution speed and provide deep operational insights. Users can utilize simple, natural language commands to quickly implement complex changes like updating tasks, ask questions to instantly diagnose bottlenecks, or retrieve critical status information. This intuitive interface also allows for proactive analysis, helping users determine if they'll meet their Recovery Time Objective (RTO). It can also instantly generate detailed execution summaries, offer suggestions to improve runbook quality during the planning phase, and, following an incident, ask it to generate specific changes to the runbook to accelerate resolution in the future.

This strategic evolution to AI Assistant reflects Cutover's focus on providing proactive, conversational, and intelligent tools that support enterprise organizations through their most demanding operational events. General availability is expected in early 2026.
