So you think you're resilient? Prove it!

Watch our session from BCI World 2022 and find out what increasing demands from regulators mean for your operational resilience program.

Webinar

Resilience can often be hard to define. What does it mean to be operationally resilient? Whatever that means to you there is one question that can be extremely difficult to answer.

Can you prove it?

Increasingly, regulators and customers want to see evidence that organizations are operationally resilient. But in a world where the only real way to be certain you are resilient is when real-life disruption occurs, how can you prove your resilience without accepting unnecessary risk?

Ask yourself this - how many times, when disruption occurs, have you been asked “how certain are we that this will work?” And then consider how often you’ve been very far from being certain.

In this thought leadership session from BCI World 2022, Clive and Mark will discuss the pain points, challenges, and also the quick-win opportunities that come with being able to “prove it.” As most things do, the secret to this starts and ends in human engagement. It requires a change in mindset. A move away from thinking about things in terms of “testing” and focusing instead on “partnering.” Partnering with internal stakeholders, suppliers, customers, and regulators.

In this session you’ll gain an understanding of

  • The increasing demands regulators have in terms of proving resilience
  • What these demands mean for your operational resilience program
  • How a change of mindset can provide a step-change in being able to “prove it.”
  • How real-time orchestration of testing data and runbooks can improve decision making when disruption occurs.
